I see a baby in the cage
many packs there are
he's founded on a cobbled street of the village
looking for his toy car
"What's in the pack?"I ask
"mom's dream
pop's wine
for you there is a falling star"

It's the light of the tower
I'm the nail of the finger
not bigger than a sugar
sugar in the water

I see the cage in one page
wound marks every where
it's left in a white cottage near the bridge
minding baby for one whole year
"What's in the mark?"I ask
"girl's hair
boy's swear
only the soul mistakes my dear"

It's the lover of the anger
I'm the nail of the finger
not bigger than a sugar
sugar in the water

now a fisher holds the page
and he lights up a cigar
he lives in the mountain with his boat named Madge
playing chess with an old guitar
"What's in the story?"I ask
"queen's trick
king's joke
the way to sea is never far"

It's the singing of the choir
I'm the nail of the finger
not bigger than a sugar
sugar in the water

<The Assassination of Jasse James>

Jesse James was a man
Who killed many men
He robbed the Glendale train
And he stole from the rich
And he gave to the poor
He had a hand and
And a heart and a brain

Well, Jesse had a wife
To mourn for his life
Three children
They were brave
But that dirty little coward
Who shot Mr.Howard
Has laid Jesse James in his grave

It was Robert Ford
That dirty little coward
I wonder how does he feel
For he ate at Jesse's bread
And he slept in Jesse's beed
And he laid poor Jesse in his grave

Well, Jesse had a wife
To mourn for his life
Three children
They were brave
But that dirty little coward
Who shot Mr.Howard
Has laid poor Jesse in his grave
